SpagoBI improves public emergency medical services in the Emilia-Romagna region, Italy

SpagoBI suite is used by the 118 – the free public emergency medical service available 24/7 – of the hospitals located in the Emilia-Romagna region, Italy.

The open source suite allows the healthcare management to monitor the delivered healthcare services, ranging from emergency, to admissions/discharges, patient wait time and ambulance response time. A diversified set of easy-to-use analytics, such as reports, OLAP and cockpits, are used to analyze, compare, export and present the information in multiple ways.

The adoption of SpagoBI suite is intended to:

  • improving the quality and efficiency of emergency medical services;
  • improving patient flow and satisfaction;
