SpagoBI Labs presents Smart Data strategy and OW2 Big Data initiative in Nice (France)

Nice, France –  Jun 25-26, 2014

Engineering Group’s SpagoBI Labs participate in the Smart Data World Forum, sharing the technologies and strategies adopted in the Big Data and Open Data domains.

The agenda of the event includes a real success story focusing on SpagoBI suite driving territory management through the GeoBI.info portal of the Autonomous Province of Bozen (Italy), technically supported by Techno Innovation Park South Tyrol (TIS). Presentations also focus on the OW2 Big Data Initiative, led by Engineering Group and SpagoBI Labs, which offers a broad stakeholders network committed to creating new value using the emerging IT technologies.
Speeches are delivered during the “Building a Smart Data Strategy” session on 26th June 2014, namely:

  • 09:20 a.m. – “GeoBI.info: the Georeferenced Business Intelligence as a first step towards adoption of Open Data and Big Data technologies by SMEs” by Patrick Ohnewein, Head of Free Software & Open Technologies Department, TIS Innovation Park
  • 09:40 a.m. – “Why Open Source Software helps you to build the right Smart Data strategy” by Gabriele Ruffatti, Engineering Group’s Big Data Competency Center Director and founder of SpagoBI Labs
  • 11:10 a.m. – Stefano Scamuzzo, SpagoBI Ecosystem Manager, participates in the panel discussion about Smart Data Strategy.
