Engineering Group assumes the chair of the international open source OW2 Consortium

Engineering Group’s representative elected as Chairman of one of the main global open source communities.

Rome (Italy), 7th May 2013 – Gabriele Ruffatti has been elected as Chairman of OW2 Consortium – the global open source community co-founded by Engineering Group.

OW2 is a global and independent community, whose goal is granting the durable and sustainable development of the most adopted and reliable enterprise-level open source solutions, ranging from middleware and application platforms to cloud computing technologies. The Consortium, well-established in Europe, Asia and in the Americas, hosts over 100 projects, including SpagoBI and Spagic, realized by Engineering Group. www.ow2.org
